Registration
is completed. Plane tickets are purchased. Hotel room is reserved. Calendar is blocked out. Now all I have to do is count down the days
until the DRJ Fall World 2012 Conference in San Diego.
Once again,
the folks at DRJ have put together a terrific program and I look forward to
attending some informative and thought-provoking sessions, but – and don’t tell
the folks at DRJ I said this – the real value in attending these conferences is
in meeting and networking with all of you.
Getting to
mix with, talk to and have fun with other professionals and practitioners is
what makes these conferences worth the investment in time and money. And, of course, doing it all in San Diego is
the icing on the cake.
I hope to
get to meet all of you who have taken the time to read and comment on my blog
postings at this conference in September.
I welcome the opportunity to hear what’s on your mind and to discover
what the issues and topics that you would like to see covered in future blogs
and articles are.
So, here is
my challenge and offer: I will purchase
the first drink, alcoholic or otherwise, for everyone who posts a comment on
this blog indicating you are going to the conference. You then need to find me at the conference
and introduce yourself as a commenter on the blog. Then, simply tell me what your drink of
choice is.
September
will be here before you know it.
Footballs will be flying, school buses will be back on the roads and I
will be in San Diego sharing a drink with my friends, old and new, at the DRJ
Fall World Conference. Does life get any
better than this?
